In his New Year statement issued to newsmen on Wednesday, Hon. Tella urged residents to work together in fostering peace, growth, and sustainable development.
He emphasized that collaboration across all sectors is key to address challenges and achieving the state’s developmental goals.
“As we enter 2025, I call on the good people of Ogun State, especially my constituents in Abeokuta North, to embrace unity and support one another in building a prosperous state. Together, we can overcome obstacles and create a better future for our children,” he said.
Hon. Tella highlighted the achievements of the Ogun State government in the past year, including strides in education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
He commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for his visionary leadership and commitment to the welfare of Ogun State residents.
Tella also reaffirmed his dedication to his legislative duties, pledging to continue advocating for policies and initiatives that will improve the lives of his constituents.
He encouraged residents to engage actively with their representatives to ensure that their voices are heard in the decision-making process.
The lawmaker called on the youth to take advantage of various empowerment programs offered by the state government, stressing the importance of education, skill acquisition, and entrepreneurship in preparing the younger generation to contribute positively to society.
“Our youths are the future of this state and country. I urge them to remain focused, dedicated, and open to opportunities that will enhance their lives. The government is committed to support their aspirations through initiatives designed to empower them,” he stated.
The lawmaker also appealed for peace and security across Ogun State, urging residents to cooperate with law enforcement agencies to maintain law and order.
He emphasized that a peaceful environment is essential for attracting investments and fostering development.
