Pastor Idowu Iluyomade, a suspended clergyman of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has founded a new church named Family Fellowship.
The former senior pastor of RCCG’s City of David Parish, who faced suspension following widespread criticism of his wife's extravagant birthday celebration, held his first Sunday service at the new church located in Victoria Island, Lagos.
A viral video captured Pastor Iluyomade dancing joyfully during the inaugural service on Sunday, January 19th.
The video has sparked mixed reactions online, with some expressing support for his new endeavor while others criticized it, suggesting that churches are increasingly becoming commercial enterprises.
