Atiku Abubakar in Closed-Door Meeting with Obasanjo

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, is currently in a closed-door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Complex in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Atiku, who served as Vice President under Obasanjo’s administration from 1999 to 2007, arrived at the venue at exactly 12:37 pm, accompanied by prominent political figures, including Senator Aminu Tambuwal and former Governor of Cross River State, Liyel Imoke.

While the details of the meeting remain unknown, political observers speculate that discussions may center on national issues, party strategies, or the upcoming elections.

As of the time of this report, neither Atiku nor Obasanjo has made any official statement regarding the purpose of the meeting.

However, when approached by journalists, Atiku refusing to grant an interview described the meeting as a "courtesy visit".

"I don't want to talk about politics. I have only come on a courtesy visit', Atiku said.
