Concern is mounting over the sudden disappearance of Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, as his family has officially declared him missing.
A viral petition filed by the Idibia family on February 14, 2025, revealed that they had sought the Department of State Services (DSS) to intervene in locating the legendary singer. Reports indicate that 2Baba has been missing since February 10, 2025, after leaving home in loungewear, presumably for a walk. However, he never returned, and all efforts by his family and staff to contact him have been unsuccessful.
Adding to the growing concern, the family disclosed that messages soliciting money were being sent from 2Baba’s social media accounts. Given his history of financial independence, they fear he may have been abducted, with an unknown individual attempting to exploit his name for financial gain.
As of now, 2Baba’s management has not released an official statement, leaving fans across Nigeria deeply worried as the search for the superstar continues.
