The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta North Local Government, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde, has called on Muslims to embrace love, unity, and compassion as they observe the holy month of Ramadan.
In her message to the Muslim faithful, Alhaja Sarumi Akintunde emphasized the significance of Ramadan as a time for spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and acts of kindness.
She urged Muslims to extend generosity to the less privileged and strengthen bonds of togetherness within their communities.
“Ramadan is a period of immense blessings and an opportunity to demonstrate love and sacrifice. I encourage all Muslims to uphold the values of peace, patience, and charity during this sacred month,” she stated.
She also prayed for peace and prosperity in Abeokuta North and the nation at large, calling on residents to continue supporting one another and working towards the progress of the local government.
Alhaja Sarumi Akintunde reaffirmed her commitment to the well-being of the people and pledged that the APC-led administration in Abeokuta North would continue to prioritize policies that enhance the welfare of citizens.
She wished all Muslims a successful and spiritually fulfilling Ramadan.
