As Muslims across Nigeria celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, the Founder of Youthlift Advocacy Foundation, Jiboku Olatunde Olalekan, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim faithful, urging them to embrace the values of peace, love, and unity that the festival represents.
In a statement issued to newsmen on Sunday, Jiboku congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, emphasizing the significance of the holy month as a period of spiritual renewal, self-discipline, and devotion to God.
He encouraged them to carry forward the lessons learned during Ramadan into their daily lives.
He noted that Eid-el-Fitr is not just a time for celebration but also an opportunity for reflection and gratitude.
“The essence of this festival lies in its message of compassion, generosity, and togetherness. It is a time to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and contribute to the well-being of society,” he said.
He also urged Muslim faithful to extend kindness to the less privileged, as charity is a fundamental aspect of Eid celebrations.
