Nigerian actor Ijoba Lande has called out street-hop artist Portable for using his marital troubles as inspiration for a song.
Lande, who recently accused his wife of cheating with his colleagues, expressed anger over Portable’s decision to make a song out of his personal struggles. His wife's admission of infidelity and plea for forgiveness had already stirred public reactions, and Portable's song added to the controversy.
In response, Lande blasted the singer, reminding him of how he once cried publicly when another man was involved with one of his wives.
Speaking in Yoruba, he said:
"Portable, I see all the nonsense you are doing. You are using my life story to sing. You will pay for it. When they slept with one of your wives the other time, you were crying all over the internet."
