Lewandowski Sets Sights on 100-Goal Milestone After Girona Brace-OXYGIST

Robert Lewandowski has reaffirmed his ambition to hit the 100-goal mark for Barcelona after netting twice in their 4-1 victory over Girona.

The Polish striker’s brace on Sunday not only pushed him closer to the milestone but also restored his lead over Kylian Mbappe in the race for La Liga’s Pichichi award.

Since joining the Catalan giants, the 36-year-old has now scored 97 goals, with 25 coming in La Liga this season and 38 across all competitions. His impressive form remains crucial to Barcelona’s title hopes.

While his ongoing battle with Mbappe for the league’s top scorer honors grabs headlines, Lewandowski insists his primary focus is on team success and personal achievement.

"Reaching 100 goals for Barcelona is one of my dreams," he said after the match. "I feel fantastic physically, and I know I can achieve it soon."

With key fixtures ahead, including a Copa del Rey semi-final clash against Atletico Madrid, Lewandowski is determined to hit the century mark and further cement his legacy at the club.
