The Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Adesina 'Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA has sworn-in supervisors and Special Advisers at the Local Government Secretariat, Owode-Egba.
The Council boss admonished the appointees to see their appointments as call to duty, as he requested them to ensure coming up with new ideas that will enhance the party manifesto and agenda in complementing the efforts of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON in providing quality dividends of democracy across the state.
He stressed that their appointments is to strengthen the efficiency of the government in providing amenities for generality of the good people of Obafemi Owode local government.
In the same vein, Amb. Ogunsola appreciated the Ogun State Governor, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON for the opportunities given to them in serving at the grassroot level.
While he assured that his team will keep the confidence reposed in them with a promise to continue executing good programmes that will propel the existing collaboration between the local government and the state at large.
" I want to charge you all to come up with constructive ideas on ways to improve our Internally Generated Revenue (IGR). as a clarion call to all of you", said council boss.
Amb.Ogunsola further mentioned some on-going projects such as, Rehabilitation of Legislative Chamber, Construction of block of classrooms at Maba, Re- construction of Local Government Secretariat Road at Owode, Sinking of motorized borehole at Derupatan Ajebo Ward, Distribution of Writing Materials to public primary schools, Grading of roads continues, to cut across all the 12 wards of the local government and many other projects should be expected soon.
Hon. Emmanuel Adeola, speaking on behalf of the appointees, expressed gratitude to the Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON for the opportunity given to them to serve at the various levels of government, as he thanked the Executive Chairman , Amb. Adesina 'Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA for believing in them, as he assured of their loyalty at all time.
