Popular Nigerian streamer, Peller, has voiced concerns over alleged death threats he has received following his call for Nigerians to end the ongoing #30DayRants challenge on TikTok—a trend focused on criticizing President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
During a recent livestream, Peller revealed that some individuals had warned him to "watch his back," threatening to harm him in a manner similar to fellow content creator Oloba Salo, who was shot in Lekki last year.
“I have been receiving death threats. Some people threatened to shoot me like they shot Salo in Lekki Phase 1. They told me to be careful when going out,” he lamented.
Frustrated by the backlash, he abruptly ended his statement, saying:
"What is all this? I’m not talking again. Goodbye."
Peller’s revelation has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some expressing concern for his safety while others debate his stance on the viral challenge.
