In a statement issued by the foundation on Sunday, Jiboku highlighted that Ramadan is not only a time for personal spiritual growth but also a season to uplift the less privileged in society.
He urged individuals, corporate bodies, and religious organizations to embrace the values of charity and solidarity, stressing that small acts of kindness could make a significant impact on the lives of those struggling to make ends meet.
“Youthlift Advocacy Foundation remains committed to supporting vulnerable communities, especially during Ramadan when many people face economic hardship,” Jiboku said. “We encourage well-meaning individuals to show love and generosity to those who need it most.”
He noted that acts of charity, such as donating food items, clothing, and financial assistance, could go a long way in bringing relief to those in need.
He also encouraged the Muslim community to embrace the true essence of Ramadan by practicing selflessness and demonstrating empathy towards others.
“The rewards of giving during Ramadan are immense, and we should all strive to be a source of hope for the less fortunate,” he added.
In addition, he called on government agencies and private organizations to collaborate with non-profit organization in addressing social inequalities and improving the living conditions of the marginalized.
