Jennifer Odonwodo, the wife of late Nollywood star Junior Pope, is celebrating a proud and emotional milestone as their first son, Jason, graduates from primary school.
Taking to Instagram, the resilient widow shared a touching video from the graduation ceremony, expressing deep gratitude to God and those who have stood by her family since her husband's tragic passing in April 2023.
In an emotional caption, Jennifer poured her heart out:
“Dear God, thank You for Jason.
Thank You for being the husband of the widow and the Father of the fatherless.
Thank You for showing up even when hope seems lost and words fail us.
Thank You for proving once again that MMADU ABURO CHUKWU (man is not God).”
She continued, “To our father in heaven, I know you’re proud of us. It was bittersweet—this was a day you always looked forward to. But we carry your love and your teachings every single day. Keep resting in God’s bosom, Junior Pope. We love and miss you always.”
Jennifer also extended her heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has supported her and the children through their grief:
“To everyone helping us raise these children—thank you. We don’t take your love for granted.
