Otegbeye stated this on Monday held at Ibara Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.
Barrister Biyi Otegbeye is the founder and Managing director of Regency Alliance Insurance Plc. Oladipupo Otegbeye who was first appointed as the senatorial candidate for Ogun state under the SDP in 2015 now serves as member of the APC , Ilaro ward 1, Ogun west senatorial district.
According to him "I am making this formal announcement after several months of meaningful consultation across the length and breadth of our great state , within our great party "
" Sincerity of purpose that will deliver consistency in people oriented projects and statewide rural development, honesty plus zero tolerance for wastage and corruption that will give our people access to opportunities,A capacity to understand and respond promptly to issues so that our people can reach their full potentials , courage and abiding faith that will inspire your confidence and party loyalty.
While addressing the mammoth crowd of party faithful members Barrister Olubiyi stated that he will lead to fight against poverty in Ogun state because poverty has a widespread impact.
"Contributing to issues like crime, unemployment, poor health, domestic violence , social vices , isolation and depression."
Also made His intentions on the child care He stated " My personal desire is for all children of Ogun State to grow up and thrive.
" We will educate our people about poverty and speak out about the social economic benefits of reducing poverty , we will remove barriers local households face in lifting themselves out of poverty."
In conclusion the APC chairman Mr Derin Adebiyi in his speech Said"I had wanted to announce to you people ,during the cause of the ceremony that we have two aspirants in our group in this party running for governorship, one is Otegbeye and the other is Akinlade.
"By the grace of God one of them will emerge.By the Grace of God what our leaders want as the aspirant of Presidential position, God will give it to Him. Our leader Amosun.
"By the Grace of Ogun West will take over the governorship sit.
Our group is a discipline group and we have love amongst us. We do not follow those that are sturbborn, let God preserve our lives."
