Ogun Speaker arrest was just a plethora of fraudulent cases - Adebutu

Ogun State Peoples  Democratic Party ( PDP) gubernatorial candidate, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu on Sunday pointed out that the arrest of Speaker of the State House of Assembly Hon. Kunle Oluomo by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC )was just a plethora of fraudulent cases that had been carried out by the current government.

Speaking at a unification meeting in Abeokuta , Adebutu added that there is need for all arms of government to have autonomy, adding that everyone should be answerable for itself, faulting Abiodun for running to Abuja on the release of the Speaker who was arrested by  EFCC.

According to him " Over the last few days, we heard  that the Speaker of Ogun state was arrested by the EFCC, over very  grievous issues, forged signatures, forged documents by this administration and this is just  one plethora of fraudulent cases.

" We have looked through the budget, for this fiscal year and Ogun appropriate time publish very extensive shameful exorbitant manipulation  of procurement".

" It is shame that Ogun state is going through these bad things, despite the fact that the whole world is going through this difficulties".

He described Governor Abiodun as inhumane and uncaring Governor who brought more pains to the people of the State.

"Over three years ago, he didn't care for his people, but when his administration is already on tail-end he is now doing palliative.

"This is too late, where was he three  years ago that he's now doing all appointment when the administration is already at the tail end. Why did he not cared for the people in the last three years? And now he is doing palliative all around, all this cosmetic surgery is too late, you didn't care for the people on Education, Hospitals and all."
Adebutu therefore  asked party faithful to be united as the race for the 2023 general elections draws nearer across the country.

" PDP is one big family and leaders must continue to be united and embrace more members from  parties in the state."

He posited that majority of people have seen the truth, and they have believed much that PDP would truly work for the betterment of the State.
