The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pelican Valley Nig Ltd, Dr. Babatunde Adeyemo is not moved by the recent wave of migration, saying that Nigerian youth in diaspora should remember their father land adding that the "Japa" Syndrome would not help in a long run.
Dr Adeyemo disclosed this while receiving his 21st award in three months which was presented by flash light entertainment on Sunday in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.
The pelican boss argued that one of the challenges he had with the youth is that they don't want to buy time with what ever they are doing.
"They want to arrive within one or two years forgetting that we can't just get there overnight, it took me almost 7 years working underground. what they want is to get rich within a twinkle of an eye and at the end of the day they loose it all.
"Anything you do in life you can not take time away from it, you have to make it mature over time.
"I use to tell my people that you can acquire a G-wagon today and become wrechered tomorrow all you need to do is to relax use that money for G-wagon invest and wait for additional three or four years then you would be able to buy even five G-wagons without any issue.
"Most Nigerian youth are not really philosophical, they often get engage and distracted with battles they can't win".
He therefore advised Nigerian youth
to be patient and wait for things to mature.
