.…... Commend Gov. Abiodun On Infrastructural Development
that the presidential candidate of the ruling All progressive congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains the best among the array of those angling for the exalted seat of the presidency in the 2023 general elections.
Oluseye, a former Ogun House of Assembly aspirant in Abeokuta North Local Government stated this yesterday at the 2022 13th Gbagura day Celebration.
Oluseye noted that Tinubu’s antecedents shows he's better than other candidates in all ramifications.
According to him" I was part of the Asiwaju Shettima Committee. If you look at the antecedent of the three major candidates that we have – Atiku, Tinubu and Obi. Let's look at the antecedents and determining factors.
"The antecedents of Tinubu shows that he is way better than them. He took Lagos state IGR from N600 million per month to over N400 billion in a month. That's fantastic. I don't think none of them have had such, not to talk of what to come.
"While Tinubu was the governor of Lagos state for 8 years, he run the state without an allocation from the federal government. Why? Because he expand the local government from 24 to 52. Asiwaju created the LCDA. That's more the reason the federal government then failed to give Asiwaju allocation".
He commended the effort of Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun for his performance in the state.
He said : "The performance is excellent. Three and a half year, look at the infrastructure in the state; look at the rapid development in the state; talk about Housing, education, development, road infrastructure, human infrastructure. He stood the best out there.
"Go and look at the IGR of Ogun State in the past eight years, and compare it with today's; we are almost in trillion.
"We have a whole lot of industrial hub. Ogun state is number third in Nigeria today. Go and look at the index".
Hon. Akeem Oluseye who was appointed as the Balogun Durbar in Gbagura described Gbagura day celebration as unique.
He said "today was very fantastic, we have series of visitors in Gbagura today; from former President Olusegun Obasanjo; we have Ooni of Ife, Oluwo of Iwo; both of them have representatives here; we have lot of dignitaries all over the world. It is a very lovely celebration today.
"It is a representation. Balogun Durbar means you are representing the town to ride the horse, to lead the race. Normally, we do competition, and on the competition, when you lead the race , you will be the Balogun Durbar of the town".
