The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ogun State Command, Commandant Niyi L. Ajibola, officially held the first quarter guard inspection and general parade at the State Command Headquarters, Owu Dekudu Village, Off Kobape Road, Abeokuta, on Monday.
Commandant Niyi urged every personnel to be good ambassadors of the organisation while also shunning all acts capable of bringing the name of the Corps to disrepute.
According to him " the Corps has been brought this far by its good leadership and professional excellence across the country", he added.
"It is the joy of the Corps Commandant General, AA Audi, PhD, mni, OFR, to welcome you all as champions that will take the name of the Corps to higher places and not demean the reputations already built by its leadership", he concluded.
Meanwhile, during the parade, a total of eighty-eight personnel who have successfully completed the arms training programme were decorated on the parade to fully integrate them into the fold.
The course 2019 personnel who recently completed their arms training and shooting range exercise are today full-fledge para-military officers capable of performing all the duties expected of a security agent and professionally as well.
The State Commandant once again advised the newly trained personnel to avoid all forms of overzealousness and misconduct rather he encouraged them to serve the people with absolute humility and efficiency in service delivery as stated in the mission and vision of the Corps.
