Ojelabi Takes over as NSCDC Commandant In Ogun , Assures Hitch free Elections

The newly Redeployed   Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ogun State Command, Commandant David Idowu Ojelabi has took over the mantle of leadership at the Command's State Headquarters, Owu Dekudu, Off Kobape Road, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The Commandant who assume duty on 20th February appreciated  the outgoing State Commandant Niyi Ajibola and the  personnel, he encouraged everyone to see redeployment as a necessary part of the uniform work which must be embraced.

He also commended the officers and men of the State Command for their support and doggedness at ensuring the peace and continuous protection of lives and property of the Ogun indigenes even at this trying times when the nation is transiting to elect another democratically-elected leaders come February 25 and March 11 respectively.

According to the State Commandant, "All hands are on deck to ensure safety and security during the 2023 General Elections across the country and every personnel has been appropriately trained and retrained to make this poll a success", he submitted.

Commandant Ojelabi noted that he is impressed by the level of commitment, professionalism and preparedness of the Corps in Ogun State towards a free, fair and credible elections across the State.
