House of representatives candidate in Ogun State Hon. Tolulope Phillips has debunked the news circulating round Ogun State that he had left the labour Party after the National Assembly election.
He disclosed this a statement made available to newsmen on Saturday.
The House of Representatives said the news is untrue saying that he's still a member of Labour Party .
According to him " My supporters and I Like we all know in Democratic dispensation, there is room for alignment, merger and collaboration, I want to state categorically that the Governorship candidate of People's Democratic Party, PDP in Ogun State, Hon Oladipupo Adebutu only seek for my support in the coming governorship election on March 11.
"On the proposed collaboration with PDP, we do NOT have a governorship candidate in LP but we must work with other parties for our voice to be heard loud and clear.
"We will remain in Labour Party, build it together and prepare for greater things in the future.
"I want to appeal to my teeming supporters to remain calm."
