Ogun Guber : Only a mad person won't vote for APC- OGIC Boss

Real estate guru and brain behind one of Nigeria’s luxury affordable real estate companies, Fashina Olajide has said that only a mad person won't vote for the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the march 18th gubernatorial election in Ogun State.

Speaking with newsmen in Abeokuta on Wednesday, Fashina said Governor Abiodun  has performed credibly  well in his four years, saying that everybody is enjoying peace in the state.

Fashina stressed that the Governor  continued abandoned project inherited  by the past administration which shows that he has a good heart to work for the people.

According to him " Governor Abiodun opens some internal roads that are essential for movement of goods and people to their different places.

"It is not at this point in time that we will be foolish to vote for other party. Now that we have a president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu; and having looked at the manifesto of Tinubu, talking about the 'Renew Hope'; security, education, employment, improvement in finances, student loans.I was even surprised when the president-elect talked about bitcoin, cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology. It is not at this point that the people of Ogun state will go to opposition.

"You know if a man sows, it's good to reap. If we have worked tirelessly and give all our votes to Tinubu to become president, as well as senators, house of representatives,  then we would not do our self good to have an opposition as governor. That's why I said that it's only a mad person that will vote for opposition."

Fashina urged other candidates from other parties to join hands with Governor Dapo Abiodun  to continue with his long-term work in the state.

"We see the effort Dapo wants to make on the federal government abandoned project along Ota/Abeokuta/Sango axis. It's a Federal government road and without approval you cannot do it.

"But with the coming of the President-Elect, it will be easier since the federal government can say that the state government can continue the road and they will be reimbursed back.

"We cannot have this opportunity and throw it away. And I know that the national interest and state interest are above any politicians' interest. This is the interest of the Ogun State people, this is the interest of the youth, elite, market women, traders, okada riders and mechanics.

"Our President-Elect has told us to be calm  "Elofọkàn balẹ" and we cannot play into the hands of opposition.

"I want this message to get across to both indigene and non-indigene residing in Ogun State that we won't allow them to mislead us. This time around we are going to give all our votes from  all local government areas, districts, wards and all the polling units to Dapo Abiodun. Anybody that doesn't like it should leave the state for us."
