The South West Chairman, Alhaji Ganiyu Akeem Adesina disclosed this while addressing newsmen in Abeokuta on Tuesday, saying the unity of Nigeria must remain sacrosanct in his mind.
He added that the President-Elect should make sure he does everything to unite the country and if he do so, he will earn the support of Nigerians.
The Chairman, who described Tinubu as a detribalized leader said the President-elect has mentored and made thousands of people in politics and business without tribal consideration, reassuring that the President-Elect will replicate same when he officially becomes the President.
According to him "Tinubu is an ambitious leader who has mentored and produced so many leaders in politics and business beyond Lagos State. No doubt, he is prepared for the job. He is ambitious to be President, and he is prepared. He has trained many people, he has foot soldiers in all nooks and crannies in this country,” he said.
Adesina also said that Tinubu will revamp the nation’s power sector as well as make industries strive.
The Ogun State Coordinator of the group Akinbode Olusola called on the President Muhammadu Buhari to shun any steps that can jeopardise the handing over of power to the President- elect, Bola Tinubu on May 29, 2023, noting that interim government must not be accepted or encouraged at all .
He said that nothing must happen to Tinubu's swearing-in adding that some people are calling for the cancellation of election which is against the constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the group also lauded all stakeholders involved in the recent walk to demand for the swearing in of the president elect, saying that the group will continue to resist any form of illegal interim government
