"The reason we are here is to defend our mandate. The election in which President-elect, Bola Tinubu was emerged must uphold.

"Some people are calling for interim government and we supporters of Tinubu since 2019 are saying Tinubu must be sworn-in. These people are calling for the cancellation of election which is against the constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria.

"We are here at the governor's office to pass our message through the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun to pass the message to President Muhammad Buhari that we in the South-West are saying no to interim government in Nigeria", he noted

Also speaking, the Ogun state Coordinator, Akinbode Olusola maintained that the group also called for the due process as enshrined in the constitution for people's seeking redress on the outcome of the election.

"Before getting here, we have moved round the Town to send the message to indigens/resident of Ogun State that over over 276,000 voters that voted for Prince Dapo Abiodun are not fools.

"We are saying again that over 8 Million voters that voted for Asiwaju Tinubu are not stupid. If anybody is angry should follow the due process and go to Court. No to interim government.

"We are passing a message of peace. We are telling people that we are civilized people. So if anybody is saying something to break us, we should not cause War. We don't want intervention of the foreigners to invade our Nation. We are speaking for peace and one Nigeria", he added
