According to him, the border communities in the state, especially Ipokia Local Government which borders the Benin Republic are in dire need of development in the area of infrastructure, health, education, water and access roads.
Abioro, in a congratulatory message to Tinubu, asked the president to adequately fund relevant agencies for the border development in order to cater for the needs of the communities.
The SenatoriaI aspirant explained that he believed in Tinubu’s administration to tackle the mirage of challenges facing the border communities ranging from poor funding of education, lack of infrastructures and industrialization, as well as insecurity, among others.
He added that Ogun West Senatorial district is significant to the economic growth and revenue generation for the country with largest borders with neighboring countries.
Abioro appealed to the president to consider Ipokia Local Government as one of the beneficiaries of educational programmes and policies during his tenure.
