Ogun Assembly Member-Elect, Tella Mourns the Demise of Agura of Gbagura, Oba Saburee Babajide Bakre

The Ogun State House of Assembly member-elect representing Abeokuta North State Constituency Prince Dr Babatunde Tella, has expressed deep sorrow and condolences following the death of the  Agura of Gbagura land, Oba Saburee Babajide Bakre. 

Tella in his condolence message stated that his reign was marked by unwavering commitment to community development, fostering peace, and promoting cultural heritage. 

He added that his demise has left a significant void in the hearts of Gbagura residents.

Prince Dr Babatunde Tella, who is set to represent Abeokuta North State Constituency in the Ogun State House of Assembly, conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late monarch, the Gbagura community, and the entire state.

He described Oba Saburee Babajide Bakre as a visionary leader who contributed immensely to the growth and progress of his people.

Speaking about the impact of Oba Saburee Babajide Bakre's reign, Prince Dr Babatunde Tella said, "The passing of the Agura of Gbagura is a monumental loss for the people of Ogun State.  

"We are grateful for his tireless efforts in preserving our cultural heritage and fostering unity among different ethnic groups."

 Tella assured the Gbagura community that he would work closely with other representatives and government officials to continue the legacy of the late monarch.

He emphasized the need to honor and uphold the principles of good governance and community development, which were hallmarks of Oba Saburee Babajide Bakre's reign.

"The late Agura of Gbagura, Oba Saburee Babajide Bakre, will be remembered as a revered monarch whose reign was marked by progressive leadership and dedication to the well-being of his people. 

"His demise has left a void that will be difficult to fill, but his legacy will continue to inspire and guide future leaders in the community."
