ACE Awards Set to Honour Nigerian Achievers in Grand Ceremony

Otunba Olumide Adeleke, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ACE Magazine Media and ACE Awards, has officially revealed the distinguished recipients of the Awards Celebrating Excellence (ACE) 2023. 

The prestigious ceremony, known for honoring exceptional individuals and their outstanding contributions to Nigerian society and beyond, aims to recognize and celebrate the exemplary achievements of selected Nigerians.

During the annual ACE Awards briefing on Friday, Mr. Olumide emphasized the event's significant role in acknowledging remarkable icons, philanthropists, business entrepreneurs, political office holders, NGOs, and corporate organizations who have made immeasurable contributions to the nation's development.

"As Part of our vision on this herculean mission, we have in last twelve years been changing narratives of award giving institutions by setting a standard for our award organisation of which our panel of judges has always decided the winners on merit without sentiments in any form. ACE Awards has never been monetized and this has earned us a good reputation among others institutions.

"The choice of our special awardees for this year's edition is borne out of the recognition by our noble panel of judges of their good antecedents and pedigrees which we have been following with keen interest over the years," he said.

In the last edition, which took place at the Academy Event Center in Ikeja, the ceremony attracted dignitaries from across Nigeria, adding to its prestige and importance in the country's social calendar.

This year's ACE Awards have been themed "Solving Nigeria's Insecurity Challenges & Socio-Economic Recession With Youth Integration." The event aims to inspire the recipients and encourage them to continue their exceptional work.

The list of eminent Nigerians selected for the 2023 ACE Awards includes Former Governor and Senator Representing Ogun East, His Excellency, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Otunba Engr Kayode Adamolekun, Otunba Kazeem Odeyeyiwa of Repton Group Ltd, Otunba Segun Sowunmi, Adenowo of AD Consulting Ltd, Dr. Alistair Shode CEO of Bentv London, Mrs. Nancy Iloh, Mr. Adekunle Ademiluyi, MD/CEO of Capitalfield Investment Ltd, Aare Emmanuel Adetola King, CEO of Adron Homes and Properties Ltd, Mrs. Funke Bucknor Obrurhe, CEO of Sapphire Events, Engr Durodola Kuteyi, CEO of Spectranet Ltd, Her Grace Dr. Yomi Sholoye, Tolu Akinbohun of Events Squard, Hajia Aolat Sule, Dr. Abayomi Pedro, Professor Gbenga Akingbehin, Dr. Abayomi Arabambi, Pastor Mrs. Ajibade Adenike, and other esteemed dignitaries.

According to the CEO, "the essence of this Awards is to encourage them to do more and challenge others in their chosen careers despite what the country is being confronted with, particularly, in the areas of security and economy.

"I want to enjoin our patriots to ensure that they are goods model to upcoming youths in Nigeria and around the world," he said.

He, however, reiterated his commitment to celebrate both the celebrated and uncelebrated heroes, stressing that the event is scheduled for 23th, July 2022 at NUJ hall, Iwe Iroyin Abeokuta .
