…..warn faceless groups against incitement
The youths of the All Progressives Congress in Abeokuta North Local Government under the aegis of APC Youth League, Abeokuta North Local Government of the Ogun State Coordinate has passed a vote of confidence on their leaders within the local government and Ogun Central respectively with a stern warning to all faceless groups in the local government.
In a statement signed by the Secretary of the group, Comrade Olanrewaju Damilare in response to the publication by a faceless group acknowledged efforts of leaders in the local government for their exemplary leadership which gave victory to the APC and made it to defeat the main opposition in the last elections.
According to Olanrewaju Damilare, the leaders ensured the unity of the party men and women while carrying along all tendencies within the local government which aided overwhelming victory for the APC during presidential and gubernatorial elections. These leaders placed premium on fairness, equity, justice and have been great mentors to the youths.
These achievements are milestones and must not be toyed with by faceless persons or groups who are on a selfish mission.
"Our highly respected leaders; Hon. Adesina, Alhaji Bakai, Hon. Yemi Adelani IGWE, Alhaja Faidat, Hon. Tella and others must be respected by the youth of the local government because they prioritize the interest of the youth in all their party engagements and even included about five youths in the list submitted to the governor for appointment "
“The principle of fairness,equity and justice has always been the watchword of these leaders in determining who gets what in the local government with consideration for our wards, communities and tendencies.
We hereby warn strongly the purveyors and sponsors of elements of disunity within the Local Government to desist from such moves as it will only lead them to no where" he concluded
Comrade Olanrewaju Damilare who doubles as Coordinator Of APC Council Of Ward Secretaries In Ogun Central District advised aggrieved individuals who are not in total support of actions of the leaders to find a way of engaging the party hierarchy rather than resulting to using pseudo names and groups to insult highly revered personalities . This is to toe the path of honour and show the omoluabi potentials being advocated among the young political elites, by Governor Dapo Abiodun administration.
