Tella added that Osoba has played a significant role in the history of Nigeria and will be remembered as one of those that engineered the return to democracy in 1999.
He disclosed that the political career of the celebrant has exemplified determination and tenacity towards upholding democracy across the length and breadth of Nigeria
The lawmaker said " Today i want to rejoice with our father, the National leader of our party, APC, Chief Aremo Olusegun Osoba. His life is worthy of emulation. He has been a pathfinder, leader and mentor and father – figure to many of us. As a man who governed his state between 1992 and 1993 and 1999-2003, his impact in Ogun State still remain indelible.
“He has made great leadership sacrifices borne out of his selfless spirit to serve the people. It is my prayer that the good Lord will grant him more years in good health so that we can continue to tap from his wealth of experience,”
