Yoruba Youth Assembly to Induct Dr. Babatunde Adeyemo into Obafemi Awolowo Hall of Fame August 3

In a remarkable acknowledgment of his humanitarian efforts and outstanding leadership, Dr. Babatunde Adeyemo, the recently appointed ECOWAS Youth Ambassador, has been honoured with the prestigious title of 'Yoruba Youth Humanitarian Icon of the Year '23.' 

This esteemed recognition comes from the Yoruba Youth Assembly (YYA), the umbrella body of all Yoruba youth organizations. 

The YYA commends Dr. Adeyemo's unwavering commitment to community development, youth empowerment, support for the less privileged, and various humanitarian initiatives through his commendable work with the Oko Opo Foundation, a prominent Non-Governmental Organization.

Recognizing the quintessential, pragmatic, and visionary attributes of Dr. Adeyemo, the YYA has closely observed his exemplary contributions, not only as a renowned realtor but also as an exceptional individual. 

The organization firmly believes that such an experienced and dedicated individual deserves to be celebrated and appreciated.

In a letter from the YYA, signed by Hon. Olarinde Thomas (President) and Lukman Olawoyin (Secretary-General), has been sent to Ambassador Babatunde Adeyemo, officially conveying the decision to award him the title of Yoruba Youth Humanitarian Icon.

 In addition to this prestigious accolade, the YYA also plans to induct him into the revered Chief Jeremiah Obafemi Awolowo Hall of Fame, recognizing his outstanding leadership qualities and tireless commitment to the betterment of society.

The Yoruba Youth Assembly (YYA) was established with a core focus on fostering unity, peace, and youth engagement in Nigeria. 

The organization collaborates with partners from across the globe to contribute to the country's national development. By acknowledging and honoring Dr. Adeyemo's immense contributions to humanity's growth and development, the Yoruba youths hope to learn from his wealth of knowledge and experiences, ultimately benefiting from his guidance and mentorship.

One of Dr. Adeyemo's recent achievements includes connecting the Arobiologbo community in Ogun State, which had been without public power for over six decades, to the national grid. 

Furthermore, he celebrated his 44th birthday in a remarkable manner, organizing a novelty match with Nigeria Correctional Service Centre inmates and extending essential palliatives to the less privileged members of society.

The induction ceremony into the Obafemi Awolowo Hall of Fame and the Yoruba Youth Humanitarian Icon Award presentation will take place on August 3.

 Dr. Babatunde Adeyemo's dedication and contributions to humanity continue to inspire and uplift, serving as a beacon of hope for the youth and the community.
