Fashina Olajide during his visit to the monarch’s palace on Wednesday, described Olowu as a peace-loving monarch and father.
The OGIC Boss said that Oba Saka Matemilola has continually preserved the spirit of co-operation, communal living and peaceful co-existence among his subjects.
According to him “Kabiyesi, you have not only ensured peaceful coexistence among your subjects, but contributed immensely to the development of Owu Kingdom and Ogun State.
“As a custodian of culture and tradition, you have in the last one year, played significant roles in ensuring that the interest of your subjects is taken care of,” he said.
He congratulated the monarch on the occasion, urging him not to relent on his good deeds which has positioned him as a father to all.
“I heartily congratulate Kabiyesi, the Chiefs, High Chiefs and the entire people of Owu Kingdom on this 1st coronation anniversary. I pray that God will continue to give Kabiyesi the grace, wisdom and good health to celebrate many more years on the throne.
"We are committed to work hand in hand with you and the Owu community to preserve and celebrate our cultural heritage while fostering growth and development."
