Among the notable inductees were the Chairman of Owode local government Ambassador Ogunsola Adesina Lanre, FCPA, and Hon. Ganiu Hamzat, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Ogun State.
Dr. Uche Okereke Jp,Fcpa. Registra/ CEO stated that the institute is approved by the Federal Government to strengthen the local government administration, to develop the manpower deficit as its recognizes the efficiency of the existence of the third tier of government and need to empower her in all ramifications.
"The institute aim and objective is to make changes in all governments establishment and to strengthen the uprightness of the civil and public servant in their discharge of duty devoid of misuse of power, misuse of public office and to maintain decency in discharge of duty as public officers.
" it is a duty you must include FCPA to your names henceforth, it is a right, for you have passed all the prerequisites required by the Institute and at all time you must be a good ambassador of the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria wherever you be", said registrar.
Meanwhile, Hon. Ganiu Hamzat, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Ogun State also inducted as Fellow of Chartered Institute of Public Administration, FCPA.
Taking the oath of allegiance, Hon Hamzat affirmed that he shall abide with the guidelines as stated and signed in accordance of the Senate of the Institute and the professional body at large. He further thanked the CILGPAN on behalf of other inductees.
Amb.Ogunsola stated that,he his happy that the institute honoured him based on his performance at the local government, therefore he will not relent in his efforts to continue providing required dividends of democracy to his people.
Some of the inductees includes,a sensational afro beat singer, Mr. Abolore Akande, a.k.a. 9ice as Member Chartered Institute of Public Administration (MCPA), among other categories of award.
In the entourage of the council boss are, Secretary to Local Government, Hon. Kayode Dipeolu, Director, General Services and Administration, Mr. Oyekan, Director Information, Education and Sports, Prince Segun Soneye.
