'You're a dogged fighter, true democrat ", Toyin Amuzu praises Ladi Adebutu after supreme Court judgement

The governorship candidate of the People's Democratic Party, PDP in Ogun State, Chief Ladi Adebutu has been described as a dogged fighter, a true democrat and the people's governor, whose love for a better society and the upliftment of the downtrodden can not be wished away.

An Egba Chief, who is also a stalwart of the PDP, Chief Toyin Amuzu, TA, stated this while saluting Chief Ladi Adebutu for his courage and doggedness in pursuing the States' governorship bid to a logical conclusion as allowed by the Constitution.

Chief Amuzu observed that "if the struggle which ought to deepen the Nations democracy and rule of law was faulty by affirming and legitimizing the continued lack of transparency in our electoral system, then the courts would continue to usurp the rights of voters to elect their leaders".

He said with the Supreme Court Judgement, "it is clear that the dust has finally settled".

According to Chief Amuzu, " Chief Adebutu has done his own, he has demonstrated a true sense of responsibility, integrity and leadership to show how authentic leaders behave and put service at the forefront of all they do".

"I am so proud of my leader, he is always
true to himself, displaying transparency and integrity, and fostering positive relationships with those he is leading. I am sure history would vindicate Chief Ladi Adebutu who actually proved that if people lose trust and confidence in elections, democracy will practically be in life support", he said.

Chief Amuzu thanked the good people of Ogun State, urging them to remain steadfast, re-dedicate and direct all efforts to the well-being and prosperity of the State as he is confident that another opportunity to serve the State will present itself shortly.

He also encouraged all distinguished leaders of the party across the 20 local governments areas of the state, loyal members of the PDP and supporters, professional bodies, market men and women, business people, traders, journalists, traditional rulers, religious leaders and others who have invested all their energy and resources in the fortune of the party to remain strong and maintain optimism, saying "we will not allow this momentary setback to dampen our spirits and resolve to liberate and reposition Ogun State for greatness".
