Gov. Abiodun Guarantees Corps Members a Rewarding Service Year with Appropriate Ambiance

The Executive Governor of Ogun State Prince Dapo Abiodun has assured Corps Members of providing the necessary ambience for them to have a peaceful and rewarding service year in Ogun State. 

The Governor who was represented by the Hon Commissioner, Ministry of Sport Development, Hon Wasiu Isiaka gave the assurance while presiding over the Swearing-in Ceremony of the 2024 Batch A Stream one Corps Members deployed to Ogun State at the Gateway International Stadium Sagamu. 

Governor Abiodun who also assured them that the people of Ogun State are very hospitable and caring, urged them to feel at home and integrate into the various communities they will be posted to serve.

"I enjoin you to make Ogun State your home by not rejecting your posting to any part of Ogun State. I give you my words that your entire service year and even beyond will be a very memorable one in Ogun State". He assured. 
The Governor who commended the NYSC Ogun State Coordinator, Mrs Olayinka Diana Nasamu for excellent performance in the past Orientation enjoined the Corps Participants to cooperate with Management of the Scheme and other Collaborating Agencies for a hitch free Orientation.

Earlier, the NYSC Ogun State Coordinator, Mrs. Olayinka Diana Nasamu in her introductory address, revealed that a total of 2339 Prospective Corps Members comprising 496 males and 819 females for Ogun and 409 males and 615 females for Lagos have registered before the cut off date and time and ready to be sworn in.
 High points of the event was the administration of the national pledge and NYSC Oath of Allegiance on the Corp members by the Chief Judge of Ogun State ably represented by Hon. Justice T.A Okunsokan, the Constitution of Camp Court and the decoration of the three Corps Camp Directors by the State Coordinator.
