...CCMA Charges troops to be professional while discharging military duties
The Chief of Civil Military Affairs (CCMA) Major General Nosakhare Ugbo In his opening remarks, the CCMA stated that the workshop was designed to enlighten personnel on good conduct during operations and routine activities. He also stressed that it was also tailored towards ensuring that troops carry out their duties according to international best practices and standards.
He further stated that the conduct of the workshop was in line with the COAS Command Philosophy geared towards training of personnel in order to achieve professionalism and efficiency whilst carrying out their duties within a joint environment.
Earlier in his welcome address the Commander 35 Artillery Brigade, Brig Gen Mohammed Tajudeen Aminu stated that the workshop with theme “ A proper Conduct of Nigerian Army Soldiers within a Larger Society” is apt considering the recent developments in our society and how it affect military personnel. He added that in line with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the NA continue to provide military aid to civil authority through conduct of Internal Security Operations amongst other measures which entails interactions with the citizens.
