Ogun Lawmaker IWA Marks One Year In Office, Reiterates Commitment to Constituency Development

A member of the Ogun State House of Assembly representing Abeokuta South State Constituency ll, Hon. Igbalaye Wasiu Ayodele, popularly known as IWA, has marked his one year anniversary in office by highlighting his numerous achievements.

In a statement personally signed by him, IWA reiterated his commitment to delivering good governance and fulfilling his campaign promises. He listed his achievements, which include:
Facilitating the construction of four classrooms at Saint Andrew Primary School
 Ongoing construction of a broken bridge at Ijeja due to erosion
- Provision of borehole water to ward 8
- Daily provision of water for constituents from ward 8 to 15
- Empowerment of youths through free skills acquisition training
- Cash empowerment for constituents, including youths, aged, widows, and widowers
- Rehabilitation of a dilapidated bridge in Ibara
- Passage of a bill for the creation of a job portal for youths
- Passage of bills for the creation of security for transporters and "Isese" Day
- Electrification of communities with solar lights
- Scholarships to 50 students of Grand Plus College of Education

IWA also announced plans to award N50,000 to the best students of primary schools in his constituency to support their education.
The lawmaker expressed his determination to continue working towards the betterment of his constituency.
