Renowned singer Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold, has heartfeltly thanked his former boss at YBNL Records, Olamide, for playing a pivotal role in launching his music career.
Late Thursday, Adekunle Gold took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a picture of his first album, reflecting on his journey and expressing appreciation for Olamide's support over the past eight years. The 'Orente' singer recounted how he was just a young graphic designer when Olamide gave him the opportunity to design the YBNL logo and become part of the record label.
"Thank you @olamide for giving that young graphic designer the chance to not only design the YBNL logo but to be a part of your family," Adekunle Gold wrote.
In response, Olamide expressed his appreciation with a warm message, saying, "Fam for life."
Adekunle Gold also shared his inspiring journey from dreaming big to achieving his goals: "All I had was a dream. I knew I had a special gift and I said to myself, 'the world must hear this, they must know my name, these stories I have to share must mean something to people, these songs must find a home in people’s hearts.' 8 years ago, my life changed forever!"
