Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has decided not to pursue a transfer for Napoli’s star striker, Victor Osimhen, at this time, according to reports from Sky Sports.
Earlier this summer, the French giants were in talks regarding a potential move for Osimhen, but they have since redirected their focus to strengthening other areas of their squad. PSG has already invested nearly €150 million in young talents like Désiré Doué, Willian Pacho, and João Neves, complementing an attack that already features Kolo Muani, Ousmane Dembélé, Bradley Barcola, and Marco Asensio.
Napoli's hefty asking price and the overall financial package required for Osimhen led PSG to explore alternative options. Despite recent reports suggesting that PSG might be in the market for another forward due to Gonçalo Ramos’ ankle injury, Osimhen is not currently head coach Luis Enrique's top priority. Additionally, Ramos is only expected to be out for a few months, reducing the immediate need for a high-profile signing like Osimhen.
