Hon. Dr. Babatunde Tella, a lawmaker representing Abeokuta North State Constituency, Ogun State has congratulated Nigerians on the celebration of the nation’s 64th independence day celebrations.
In a message signed by him and made available to journalists in Abeokuta Tella emphasized the need to remain united and love each other irrespective of our different ethnic groups.
He further stressed the need to hold the rule of law firmly, and also appealed to the citizens to always make a positive contribution to reducing the workload of governance.
The Deputy Chief Whip urged citizens to
reflect on the nation’s journey and recommit themselves to building a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.
”We should be grateful to God Almighty for the journey so far as a nation, and continue to strive very hard to actualize the Nigeria of our dreams.
“Nigeria is full of potentials and several natural resources, our great nation is also blessed with the manpower to make it work, what is needed most time is a strong political will and capable hands to get things done swiftly.
“As we mark this wonderful day of our great history, we pray for the stability of our great nation for the general good of the citizens. Congratulations, Nigerians,” he said.
