VeryDarkMan Appears Before National Assembly in Bobrisky Bribery Scandal-OXYGIST

Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has made an appearance at the National Assembly to testify before the House of Representatives' Joint Committee on Financial Crimes and Reformatory Institutions. His testimony centers on bribery allegations involving officials from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and Haliru Nababa, the Controller-General of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).

VeryDarkMan, dressed in traditional attire, arrived at the assembly accompanied by his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju. The chairman of the EFCC, Ola Olukoyode, was represented at the hearing by his chief of staff, Michael Nzekwe. Haliru Nababa was also present at the proceedings.

Notably absent from the hearing was Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, who is at the center of the bribery controversy. However, Bobrisky’s lawyer, Avwerosuoghene Omuvwie, was in attendance.

This inquiry follows an audio clip shared by VeryDarkMan, where Bobrisky allegedly claimed to have paid a ₦15 million bribe to EFCC officials to have money laundering charges against her dropped. On Thursday, the House of Representatives resolved to investigate these serious accusations against the anti-graft agency and the NCoS.
