The Anambra State branch of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has voiced strong opposition to President Bola Tinubu’s recent appointment of Bianca Ojukwu as a minister-designate, calling it an act of "anti-party activity." According to APC leaders, Ojukwu’s role within the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) raises serious concerns about party loyalty.
During an emergency meeting in Awka on October 24, High Chief Bunty Onuigbo, APC’s South East Zonal Secretary, criticized the decision as a “blow to party morale” and suggested that it risks undermining APC loyalty in Anambra. "This decision to favor APGA members over our own could drive defections," Onuigbo cautioned, expressing disappointment that APC’s leadership would empower rivals.
