Popular Nigerian DJ, Big N, has shed light on how MAVIN Records founder, Don Jazzy, extended financial assistance to cross-dresser Bobrisky, despite never having met or spoken to him.
According to DJ Big N, a friend of Bobrisky had organized a fundraising effort to secure his release from jail. This friend reached out to Don Jazzy, who generously donated out of the kindness of his heart, just as he has done countless times for others. DJ Big N emphasized that Don Jazzy had no prior connection to Bobrisky. "Don Jazzy has never met Bobrisky, never spoken to him, and doesn’t have his number, nor does Bobrisky have his," DJ Big N explained. He further added that the music mogul's contribution was part of the many acts of charity he has done anonymously, often not making headlines.
Addressing social media rumors, DJ Big N stressed that good deeds can sometimes be misinterpreted. He also touched on recent allegations about the music industry, where some claim that rising to the top requires sexual favors. DJ Big N clarified that Don Jazzy’s goal has always been to expose and remove such exploiters from the music industry. However, he warned against false accusations and media stunts, noting how some people try to create a buzz around their names or music. "Let’s use our heads to think critically, not just for headbutting,” DJ Big N concluded humorously.
