Joe Igbokwe, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State, has voiced his frustration following the World Bank's recent report that identifies the Naira as the weakest currency in Africa.
In a Facebook post on October 18, Igbokwe questioned how Nigeria, often regarded as the "most endowed country in Africa," could face such a dire economic situation. He highlighted the nation's wealth in education, favorable climate, and fertile land, among other advantages.
Igbokwe lamented that the prevailing attitude in Nigeria seems to be one of individualism, with citizens focused on personal gains rather than working for the greater good of the country.
