As the race for councillorship in Ward 8, Abeokuta North Local Government gathers momentum, All Progressive Congress (APC) councillorship candidate Hon. Waheed Akomolafe has unveiled a comprehensive plan to bring transformational change to the ward. 

Akomolafe, known for his community-oriented approach, has laid out a detailed manifesto focusing on creating an inclusive, prosperous community where residents' voices are heard and represented.

Speaking to journalists after his campaign rally on Friday, Akomolafe highlighted his commitment to fostering transparent governance, equitable development, and strong community engagement.

 He pledged to hold regular town hall meetings and set up neighborhood committees to ensure swift action on local issues. 

" We want to encourage active involvement from youth and women, launching mentorship programs to promote inclusive governance.

"We need to build a system whereby we  involve all residents in decision-making processes.
