Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has declared that key chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have shifted their allegiance to the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the upcoming November 16 governorship election.
Speaking during a campaign stop in Ese Odo Local Government Area, Aiyedatiwa boldly claimed that the PDP’s political stronghold in the state has crumbled, urging the people to reject the party at the polls.
“The PDP’s umbrella has been torn to pieces, and it’s time to chase them away with your votes,” Aiyedatiwa said, referring to the party’s symbol. “Most of the PDP’s key leaders have now joined forces with us in the APC.”
During a stop in Igbobini, the governor was met by a massive crowd of supporters, where he expressed his gratitude for their loyalty and commitment to the ruling party.
“Our supporters have shown unwavering dedication, and it is their steadfastness that has strengthened the APC across the state,” Aiyedatiwa remarked, rallying the people to ensure a landslide victory for the party in the forthcoming election.
With the election fast approaching, Aiyedatiwa continues to urge voters to stand firm with the APC, promising a brighter future for Ondo State under his leadership.
