Big Brother Naija Season 9 finalist, Victoria, has finally opened up about her connection with fellow housemate, Shaun Okojie, amid ongoing rumors about their past. Fans will recall that the pair entered the house as "Shatoria" before Biggie later separated the duos.
Despite Shaun's romantic involvement with Wanni shortly after entering the house, speculations swirled that he and Victoria had been romantically linked before the show. Addressing these rumors during an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Victoria admitted that she and Shaun did have a history.
She revealed that their relationship had been affected by several "silly fights" during the lockdown, which strained their connection before entering the house.
Victoria further shared that Shaun’s new partner in the house, Wanni, had even asked her about her relationship with him before they started dating.
“I’ll be honest,” Victoria confessed. “Shaun and I had some back-and-forth during the lockdown, fighting over trivial things. Once we got into the house, he found his confidant, and I had to process a lot of emotions alone."
Victoria also mentioned that she wasn’t actively seeking romance in the house. "My standards are high, and I know what I want. When I got into the house, I didn't find anyone I liked romantically. Even Wanni asked me if anything had happened between Shaun and me, and I told her no."
