Abeokuta North Local Government Council, Akomoje, came alive on Monday as Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the local government inaugurated the newly elected Chairman , Vice Chairman and 16 councillors .
In her speech, the APC Chairman , Alhaja Faidat congratulated the newly elected officials on their victory.
She highlighted that their success reflected the trust and confidence of the electorate as well as the unity and hard work within the APC.
The APC Chairman emphasized the weight of the responsibilities bestowed upon the elected leaders and assured the people that the new administration was prepared to deliver on its promises.
She outlined key areas of focus, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and economic development, pledging that no community within the local government would be left behind.
While celebrating the victory, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde called for collective efforts in governance, urging party members and citizens to actively participate by providing constructive feedback, support, and collaboration.
She also encouraged party faithful to remain ambassadors of the APC by promoting peace, unity, and progress within their communities.
