The high-level discussions took place on the sidelines of the summit, hosted by King Salman and the Crown Prince, and centered around pressing issues facing the Middle East.

President Tinubu had arrived in Riyadh on Sunday, ahead of the summit’s opening, to join leaders from across the Arab and Islamic world. The summit agenda includes the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict and regional stability.

According to Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Tinubu plans to use this platform to call for an immediate ceasefire and a peaceful resolution to the Israel-Palestinian tensions. In his address, he is expected to advocate for reviving the two-state solution as a pathway to lasting peace in the region.
