The remains of the first Iyalaje of Ago Iwoye, Ogun State, late Chief Victoria Adebimpe Adenuga ( nee Awobona) has been committed to mother earth.
The burial ceremony took place at the deceased residence in the ancient town with pump and funfare.
Children, grand children, family, clergymen, well wishers, community and friends gathered to pay their last respect to the late first Iyalaje of Ago Iwoye.
Earlier at the church service held at Methodist Church of Nigeria, Idode, the
Bishop of the Ijebu Diocese, Rt. Reverend Solomon Adegbite, said
every man, especially christians were saved to serve both their creator and humanity.
The Clergyman likened the deceased to the biblical Dorcas who is full of mercy and helping the less privilege, saying that the late Adenuga was a good woman, loved by all.
Some of those who spoke, including the children, spouses of the children, grand children, described the late matriarch of the Adenuga family as a great philanthropist, prayer warrior and a good mother.
