In her statement issued to newsmen on Tuesday, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde acknowledged the significance of Christmas as a time to celebrate love, peace, and the birth of Jesus Christ.
She urged Christians to reflect on the values of selflessness, unity, and forgiveness, which the season represents.
“As we commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, I want to extend my warmest wishes to all Christians in Abeokuta North and Ogun State. May this festive season bring joy, peace, and abundant blessings to your homes,” she said.
The APC Chairman expressed her appreciation to the residents for their continuous support of the APC-led administration in the state.
She reiterated the party’s commitment to delivering on its promises and ensuring a better standard of living for all.
Faidat encouraged Christians to celebrate the season responsibly and to extend a helping hand to the less privileged in their communities.
“Christmas is a time of giving and sharing. Let us all reach out to those in need and make this season truly special for everyone,” she said.
