Cole Palmer Crowned 2024 Player of the Year-OXYGIST

Chelsea’s rising star, Cole Palmer, has clinched the prestigious Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) Player of the Year award for 2024, adding another accolade to his impressive resume.

Palmer’s incredible form since joining Chelsea from Manchester City during the 2023 summer transfer window has been nothing short of sensational. The England international’s performances have dazzled fans and critics alike, earning him recognition as the FSA Player of the Year—a title decided by votes from players, pundits, media outlets, and commentators.

Palmer’s win is historic on two fronts: he is the first Chelsea player to ever receive the award and the first Englishman to claim the honor since Harry Kane in 2017. In a fiercely competitive field, he edged out notable names like Rodri, Bukayo Saka, Mohamed Salah, Ollie Watkins, and Erling Haaland to claim the top spot.

Expressing his gratitude, the 22-year-old said:

"Thank you to everyone who voted for me. It's an honor to be the first Chelsea player to win this award."
