The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has announced a new recruitment exercise for experienced professionals, with applications opening on December 23, 2024, and closing on January 11, 2025.
The announcement, shared via the agency's official X handle on Monday, highlights available roles, including Assistant Manager and Deputy Manager positions in key areas such as tax investigation, Public Relations and Strategy (PRS), ICT (cybersecurity and AI management), risk management, and legal services. Senior Manager and Assistant Director positions in tax audit are also on offer.
According to the FIRS, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree or HND with a minimum of second class lower or lower credit.
- Completion of NYSC no later than December 31, 2017.
- Relevant qualifications and professional certifications applicable to the position.
Interested candidates are encouraged to apply through the official FIRS career portal at careers.firs.gov.ng or via the agency’s verified social media platforms.
